What makes this bass special: First made in 1958, this sqwaky short scale bass is loved for its distinctive sound that can be heard on countless recordings over the decades. Venerated by such iconic players as John Entwistle, this gorgeous longhorn sports a pair of high output, high impedance lipstick pickups, 2 stacked volume/tone control sets & is finished in a classic copperburst. This particular model has been updated with a more intonatable bridge, however, the original simple bridge is included with the bass. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
