Description
Condition: This is a great sounding bass with phenomenal tone woods and playability. There are some light scratches and dings throughout the instrument; most noticeably on the lower treble and bass side bouts. There are some small scratches and dings on the back and a small area next to the input jack in which some of the finish has worn away. This is likely due to friction from an instrument cable. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is very straight overall. There is a little bit more relief in the treble side than the bass side but overall the neck is mostly straight and very comfortable to play. The truss rod functions fine. The truss rod cover has been stripped a bit from the removable cover being installed backwards. It still comes out fine however. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid curved Ovangkol body with neck-through design in natural finish. Two-piece Warwick solid brass tailpiece/bridge with four individually adjustable saddles, Stacked concentric gold knurled control knobs. Plastic back control cover plate.
Neck: Wenge neck with maple veneer stripes down the center of the back and neck-through-body construction. Wenge fingerboard with pearloid dolphin inlays, a 1 11/16” Just-A-Nut III brass nut, gold Warwick tuners and a 34” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Active MEC J and TJ pickups in the neck and bridge. Push/pull stacked volume and pickup blend control and a stacked treble and bass control with push/pull for TJ pickup splitting.

Playability/Sound: This is a highly versatile bass thanks to the preamp, pickups and tonewoods. The MEC pickups really work well together and can produce anything from a warm, full sound with a thick low end, to a bright and punchy tone that will cut through any mix. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
