What makes this guitar special: This is a great sounding DeArmond Starfire Special with exceptional sounding pickups and playability! Features include a semi-hollow double-bound maple body, two DeArmond pickups, a vibrato tailpiece and super comfortable and beautifully rounded maple neck. The pickups sound awesome with the semi hollow body design and have a nice natural ringing sustain. As always, it has been professionally inspected & setup by our in-house luthier, so it plays and sounds terrific!
Condition: Great shape overall! There are various minor surface scratches, a few very small dings and dents visible under particular lighting, and some visible pickwear on the guard.
Body: Double-bound single cutaway body with maple top, back and sides in sunburst finish. D-stamped Vibrato tailpiece with a six saddle Tune-O-Matic style bridge. Translucent control knobs, dual f-holes and a pearl spackled pickguard.
Weight: 8 lb, 12.2 oz
Neck: Super comfortable and very nicely rounded maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Black side dots, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. 24 3/4” scale length. Headstock sports a pearl DeArmond logo and Scepter, with Guild “Starfire Special” truss rod cover and chrome sealed tuners in perfect working condition. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: DeArmond pickups in the neck (7.59k ohms) and bridge (7.38k ohms) with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
