Description
Condition: This is a great sounding Larrivee acoustic! There is a repaired crack on the top beneath the bridge that goes down to the bottom of the guitar. This crack was first inlaid with small strips of wood to fill the gap then cleated and glued on the bottom to seal it and hold it in place. The crack is visible but it is holding together just fine and showing no movement. There are several finish cracks throughout the instrument; the largest two are on the lower treble side bout and on the bottom center piece of the guitar in which the edges of the center piece are uneven. There are a few smaller ones throughout the top, back and sides. There are some small dings, dents, nicks and chips throughout the guitar but nothing major. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is very straight overall with just a very small amount of relief. The truss rod functions fine. All parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound body with solid Sitka Spruce top and mahogany back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with ivoroid saddle, clear pickguard and an abalone inlay around the sound hole with multiple inlays around it.
Neck: Mahogany neck with bound Ebony fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 ¾” nut. Sealed Larrivee tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Weight: 4lbs, 6.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a beautiful sounding guitar. The solid woods and body shape produce a very warm sound with a defined low and high end and a nice midrange. The neck is very comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
