Description
What makes this guitar special: The Gibson Firebird Custom was created in memory of the forest fires that ravaged Montana in 2000. Gibson Acoustic was spared though the flames did come close. It is based on the Gibson J-30 model and hand built in the Montana Custom Shop. The combination of Gibson’s traditional square-shouldered dreadnought body, coupled with the bright, crisp tone of the maple back and sides, gives the Firebird Custom a rich, balanced tone all its own. Its appearance is no less stunning, sporting a premium AAA-grade Sitka spruce top, with back and sides made from solid AAA-grade quilted Western maple with a Cherry finish. This gorgeous, limited edition dreadnought is no longer in production & would make an excellent addition to any guitar aficionado's collection.
