Made in the image of the original, in Gibson’s acclaimed acoustic facility in Bozeman, MT, today’s Hummingbird lives up to its pedigree, bringing you all of these capabilities and more as, quite simply, one of the finest acoustic guitars available today. Cosmetic Condition: Some nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & light finish checking. A good portion of the Hummingbird motif has worn off the pickguard. Overall the guitar is in good shape & everything is in perfect working condition.
Neck: Medium-profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought in sunburst finish. Solid spruce top with 6-ply binding. Rosewood belly bridge with pearloid dot inlays & cream end pins. Large tortoise pickguard with hummingbird/butterfly/floral motif. Multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides with 4-ply binding.
Electronics: Simple, under-saddle active pickup. There are no controls.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
