What’s special about this guitar: This is a great sounding SG Standard with a particularly nice transfer of vibration and sound through the neck and body and overall the guitar is pretty light weight. The neck pickup is an upgraded Gibson humbucker. It is unoriginal to the guitar but really brings a lot more potential out of the instrument. The neck has a comfortable thicker profile and provides great playability! This is ultimately a great playing guitar with a nice upgraded pickup and phenomenal tone!
Condition: Very good shape overall! There are some surface scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument with some buckle rash on the back. There is a large impact dent on the lower bout but it is not highly visible. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: Solid body with beveled edges in black finish. Stop-Bar Tailpiece and Tune-O-Matic bridge. Skirted control knobs with silver inserts and a 5-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Nicely rounded, wide mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Gibson Deluxe Double Stripe tuners with ivoroid buttons, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Gibson PAF Reissue humbucker in the neck and an original Gibson humbucker in the bridge. Dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
