What’s special about this guitar: This is a gorgeous Martin D-18GE Golden Era 1934 dreadnought that has some stellar features. A solid Adirondack Spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides with forward shifted scalloped “X” bracing are just a few design features that make this guitar sound absolutely incredible. This is a great opportunity to own a Golden Era Series Martin at an affordable price!
Condition: This guitar is in very good overall shape. There are light surface scratches and some minor nicks, dings and dents throughout the guitar. Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The paper label on the inside of the sound hole was removed, otherwise all parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with scalloped “X” forward shifted bracing. a solid Adirondack Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with 16” radius long bone saddle. Tortoise pickguard and an old style 18 rosette.
Neck: Modified “V’ shaped mahogany neck with an Ebony fingerboard. Ablaone dot inlays and a 1 ¾” nut. Open-gear Waverly tuners, 25.4” scale length.
