What makes this guitar special: Providing the sound, sustain & expression Cray is so well known for, this gorgeous Signature Strat features a solid alder body in a cool violet finish & a hardtail bridge with gold hardware. Fitted with a trio of Fender SCN single coils & a 9-volt powered onboard gain circuit similar to the Clapton circuit. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with only mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches.
Neck: '61 C-shape maple neck 12" radius rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Single string tree with Robert Cray signature on the headstock. Vintage-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in violet finish. Vintage-style string-thru bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply white pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11.1 oz.
Electronics: Fender Samarium Cobalt Noiseless single coils. Bridge - 11.28K ohms; Middle - 6.50K ohms; Neck - 5.85K ohms. Aftermarket 9-volt powered onboard gain circuit that was routed in the treble-side horn of the body beneath the pickguard. The gain stage is activated by the center tone knob being turned to an on or off position. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
