These early 2000’s models are sought after by rock bassists around the world for their signature Thunderbird sound, with more warmth in the pickups than the newer models offer without sacrificing the grit and punch they’re known for.
Cosmetic condition: All the right wear-various surface scratches, nicks, dings, dents, and scuffs, without any wear that compromises playability.
Body: Neck-through mahogany body with dual wings and Thunderbird logo stamped 3-ply white pickguard in black finish. Top loading black chrome bridge with individually adjustable saddles.
Weight: 8lb, 15 oz – great weight! Provides awesome balance.
Neck: Slim mahogany/walnut neck with white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Ebony fingerboard is in immaculate shape, and frets show almost no visible wear. 1 5/8” nut width, 34” scale length. Headstock sports a gold Gibson logo and black Grover tuners in perfect working order. Neck is straight and truss rod is fully functional.
Electronics: TB Plus Ceramic Humbuckers, with black tophat knobs, 2x volume, 1x tone.
