Description
What makes this guitar special? This Duo Jet stems from the pre-Fender era of Gretsch production, which was a very unique era to be sure. The pickups in this guitar sound great and the slim-medium profile neck allows it to play as good as it sounds. The mahogany back and sides show beautiful chocolate striped figuring that compliment the ever-so-aged binding on the neck and body. Overall, it plays great, sounds just as good, and comes from an interesting point of the Gretsch timeline.
Condition: This Gretsch Duo Jet is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, and scratches from over 10 years of use, as well as some larger marks from bridge movement, but overall, still looks great for its age. The neck is straight and the truss rod is function as it should. The frets do show light wear but still have a lot left in them.
