Description

Condition: This is a great example of the G3156 Streamliner. There are various scratches throughout the instrument and pickguard and perhaps a few tiny dings. Overall the guitar is very clean! Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is very straight overall and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.

Body: Double-bound single cutaway jumbo body with maple top, back and sides. The top is finished in cream while the back and sides are finished in black giving this guitar a very classy look! Bigsby B-70 Tailpiece with Adjusto-Matic bridge, Gold Gretsch Arrow control knobs, dual cat’s eye “F” holes and a tortoise pickguard. 16” wide, 2.62” deep.

Neck: Maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, pearloid thumbnail inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Gold tuners, 24.562” scale length.

Pickups/Electronics: DeArmound single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge with dual volume controls, master tone control and a 3-way selector switch.

Neck: 7.18K Ohms.

Bridge: 7.13K Ohms.

Weight: 6lbs, 15.5oz.

Playability/Sound: This is a great playing, hard to find Historic Series model Gretsch. The body size, cat’s eye sound holes and black/cream finish make this a highly desirable piece. The DeArmond pickups sound exceptionally good. The neck is very comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
