Description
What makes this guitar special? There is an undeniable character about this 2002 model. It has settled beautifully from years of playing and has a maturity that shines through in everything from its aged top to its opened up sound. It blooms resonantly with rich harmonic overtones as the chords ring out. It’s the kind of quality guitars take after years of love, but as with any guitar worth its weight in tone wood, it still has lots of room left to grow. Make this special Taylor your next musical companion for years to come.

Body: Dreadnought w/ Venetian cutaway, Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top that has aged beautifully. Abalone rosette.
Neck: The neck is nice and straight and truss rod is working perfectly. Mahogany neck with bound ebony fretboard and mother-of-pearl inlays. Matte/semi-gloss rosewood headstock overlay. Gold grover tuners.
Electronics: Fishman Prefix electronics system in working order top to bottom.
Weight: 5.5 lbs
Playability/Sound: Consistent with the Taylor sound and build quality, this guitar matured as well in sound as it has in look. A big low end, refined, concise, and slightly subdued mid-range, and sparkling highs create a dynamic range true to 800 series quality and impression. The neck plays easy up and down the fretboard. This instrument is equally at home in the hands of a singer-songwriter as it is a pure instrumental player.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
