Description
What makes this guitar special? This is an undeniably killer guitar in all facets from look and sound to playability, and perfectly embodies the monstrous tone Brian May is so well-known for. The real highlight of this guitar is its Tri-Sonic pickups which output healthy doses of big and distinct tone, between its warm and full neck pickup big yet defined middle, and bright and crisp bridge. True to the original setup, it comes equipped with three on/off pickup switches that allow you to combine the pickups however you like, including all three wide open which is a pretty chunky sound. Each one is also paired with an in/out phase switch that reverses the polarity and creates a mild form of cancellation, providing an even wider range of sounds. The neck features a 1 ¾” nut and thus a wider fretboard for executing a wide variety of playing styles with more than enough room. A Burns London Deluxe Tremolo bridge and Grover locking tuners top it all off, rounding out what is already an outstanding build.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall, if not better. It does show various small dings, dents, nicks, and a good amount of light scratches throughout from being played, but is still very clean for a 10+ year old guitar and still looks great. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Playability/Sound: The C shape neck is comfortable and easy. The wider nut provides a good amount of extra fretboard real estate to execute just about any style of playing. The Tri-Sonic pickups sound absolutely fantastic across the board, individually or together in any combination. The neck is warm and full, the middle is big with a bit more definition, and the bridge is hot and crisp, all of which have strong character. The 3 on/off switches provide a few extra combinations often overlooked by a simple 5-way, and the phase switches can help thin things out or get a bit more unique sound.
