What makes this guitar special? This guitar is number 40 in an extremely limited run of only 100 and is signed by Dean Z himself. It features a ton of deluxe appointments in everything from gold hardware and marvelously colored abalone inlays to gorgeous flame maple and binding from head to toe. The natural maple figuring looks fantastic under the burst finish and adds a ton of character in the body to match the top notch abalone inlays in the ebony fingerboard. The pickups sound great all positions and between the three, provide a good range of meaty humbucker tones. In addition, this guitar is very clean, was well taken care of and we’ve given it an awesome setup, so don’t miss your chance to give this rare bird a home.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. The does possess various light surface scratches in the body and neck, as well as minor dings and scuffs, but otherwise is incredibly clean for its age and still looks awesome. The frets have almost no wear and still have a lifetime left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Mahogany body with a high-grade flame maple top in Trans Amber Burst finish. 7-ply top binding. Gold TonePros tune-o-matic bridge and slotted tailpiece. Gold speed knobs.
Neck: Soft V shape mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard with abalone black inlays. Gold Grover tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 5-ply headstock binding. Dean Z signature on the back of the headstock.
Electronics: Gold USA DiMarzio Custom humbuckers. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The soft V neck is surprisingly comfortable up and down the neck and plays equally well with chords and riffs alike. The pickups are nice and meaty and provide a good range between the three positions.
