Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a great modded Strat that steps away from conventional tone. The EMGs it comes loaded with are super hot across the board, with a lively and surprisingly thick neck response, good body, mid-range and articulation in the middle positions, and grit and bite in the bridge. The body comes in a Crimson Red Transparent finish which was limited to only a few models around the same time period, making it stand out that much more. Otherwise, it is a solid-playing Strat that’s still in great shape for its age.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It shows various small dings, dents, scuffs, chips, and light scratches, but is largely in fantastic shape for a used guitar. The frets show only light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Crimson Red Transparent finish. Vintage-style 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge. Unoriginal 3-ply pearloid pickguard. White top hat control knobs.
Neck: Modern C shape maple neck and 9.5” radius maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Chrome sealed tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale.
Electronics: EMG single-coil pickups. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.
Weight: 7 lbs 15 oz
Playability/Sound: The modern C neck is as easy to play as any. The EMGs are super hot with thicker response than most standard pickup sets. Tons of growl in the neck and into the middle positions, while the bridge is chock-full of bite.
Case: Includes Fender hardshell case.
