Description

What makes this guitar special? This is an easy playing Les Paul with a nice slim neck, great tone, and a warm aesthetic. Even without having the illustrious flame maple top, this guitar still has fantastic figuring with long sweeping waves of grain extending throughout its carved maple top, which are especially great-looking under a warm Honeyburst finish. The cream appointments and dark rosewood fingerboard complement the finish and complete its natural-toned palette perfectly. The slim D shape neck is incredibly easy to move around and will be a welcome change of pace for players who enjoy a bit more flat space on the back of the neck than the standard C shapes. The pickups sound great in all three positions and have all the classic humbucker chunk you’d hope for in a Les Paul, plus the traditional bark and bite in the bridge for cutting through the mix. In addition, this guitar has been given a great setup by our techs so it plays that much better.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, chips, scratches, and normal wear, but is still clean for its age and still looks fantastic. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Single cutaway mahogany body and carved maple top in Honeyburst finish. Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Gold top hat control knobs. Raised single-ply cream pickguard, pickup rings, and switch plate.

Neck: Slim D shape mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut. Vintage-style deluxe tuning machines with tulip keys.

Electronics: Gibson USA uncovered humbucking pickups in the neck and bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 9 lbs 4.2 oz

Playability/Sound: The slim D shape neck gives it almost a wider feel which is perfect for players who like flatter profiles. The pickups sound great across the board with a bit of extra chunk in the neck and some bark in the bridge.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
