Description
Description: 2003 Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar
Condition: Very good overall. Various surface scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the finish. There is one crack in the body on the back by a control cavity. This is merely cosmetic as it shows no movement and does not affect playability or sound (see photos). The white finish has developed a yellow patina with a unique variegation throughout the body and neck. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and tons of life left in them. Neck is very straight and truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with carved maple top in white finish which has developed a beautiful patina. Stop-Bar Tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge, speed control knobs and a single-ply black pickguard.
Neck: 60s SlimTaper mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid trapeze inlays and a 11/16” nut. Gibson Deluxe tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Gibson Humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.50K Ohms.
Bridge: 12.93K Ohms.
Weight: 11lbs, 4.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is an all around great playing Les Paul! The body finish adds a unique character to this guitar and makes it a one-of-a-kind piece! The pickups provide everything from a smooth warm sound to a searing distortion with plenty of sustain. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
