Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful 2003 Gibson Les Paul Supreme with fantastic playability and an unbeatable tone. This guitar has a double-bound chambered body with flame maple top and back in root beer finish. The body is also a little deeper than a typical Gibson which seems to give it a more full and warm tone yet the guitar is considerably lighter than many smaller body Gibsons. The guitar has other fine appointments including a bound Ebony fingerboard, split pearloid block inlays and a bound headstock with a pearloid and abalone Supreme logo. The pickups sound incredible and the neck is instantly comfortable!
Condition: Very good shape overall! Most notable are two repaired cracks in the neck; one at the headstock and one at the neck heel. These have both been professionally repaired and are causing absolutely no playability issues. Cosmetically there are various minor surface scratches and small nicks, dents and dings throughout the guitar with a few slightly hazy spots in the finish. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The strap buttons are unoriginal but all electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
