Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a fantastic Deluxe Ash Strat. It prominently features a gorgeously-figured ash body that looks at least twice as good under its Aged Cherry Burst finish. It boasts several upgrades from a standard in terms of both playability and stability with the addition of locking tuning machines and a nicely contoured neck heel that allows players to get into the upper frets more comfortably. In addition to all this, it is also super clean for a guitar that’s over ten years old, and shows only minor marks here and there to show it was even played.
Condition: This Strat is in excellent condition overall. It shows only a few minor dings, a small chip in the back/bottom, and light scratches throughout, but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a guitar that’s over ten years old. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double contoured premium Ash body in Aged Cherry Burst finish. 4-ply white pearloid pickguard. Deluxe-style 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge. Aged white top hat control knobs and pickup covers. Contoured neck heel.
Neck: Modern C shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Chrome locking tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length.
Electronics: Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Stratocaster pickups in the neck, middle, and bridge. 1 x volume w/ S-1 switch, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.
Weight: 8 lbs 11.9 oz
Playability/Sound: The neck plays as easy as any and should be comfortable and familiar to a wide variety of players. The SCN pickups sound great across the board, and still carry the traditional Strat tone, but with a bit more warmth and a lot less noise.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
