Description
Condition: This is a well-played guitar with a great feel and sound. There are scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the entire guitar, some of which are heavy. There are chips, dings and dents throughout the lower bass and treble side bouts and along the treble side contour. There are some heavy scratches, buckle rash and dings throughout the back. There are also some pick scratches throughout the pickguard and top of the body. See photos for play wear. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier play wear towards the lower registers. There are a few large dings and scratches on the back of the neck. The neck is very straight overall and the truss rod functions fine. The input jack has been replaced with a Switchcraft jack. This is what was originally installed. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured alder body in two-tone sunburst finish. Synchronized modern-style tremolo bridge with six individual saddles, skirted control knobs and a single-ply off-white pickguard. The back features a 50th Anniversary neck plate and single-ply off-white back cover plate.
Neck: “V” shaped maple neck with neck tilt adjustment, maple fingerboard, abalone dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Staggered locking tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender SCN single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control with push/push for S-1 switching, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 6.26K Ohms.
Middle: 6.26K Ohms.
Bridge: 10.36K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 13.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great playing Strat with phenomenal sounding pickups. The modern-style bridge, S-1 switching, “V’ shaped neck and pickups all make this guitar extremely comfortable to play and highly versatile.
