Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a slick and comfortable fretless Jazz Bass. The original pickguard has been replaced with a 3-ply black/red/black guard that perfectly compliments its black finish and deep rosewood fretboard. Even with a few love marks throughout the body, is it still clean looking and plays great, especially considering the price tag. Don’t miss your chance to get a great sounding fretless with a unique look.
Condition: This fretless Jazz Bass is in very good condition overall. It does have various surface scratches, a few nicks and dings from the modifications and a chip in the neck pocket, but still constitutes a pretty clean figure. The neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should. The white fret markers have worn away in a few places but the fretboard is still in great shape.
Body: Contoured alder Jazz Bass body in black. 4-saddle standard vintage-style bridge with single groove saddles. Unoriginal Warmoth 3-ply black/red/black pickguard. Steel/chrome hardware.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with medium/modern C profile. Rosewood fingerboard with 9.5” radius. Chrome open-gear tuning machines.
Electronics: Fender Jazz Bass pickups in the neck and bridge. Volume 1, Volume 2, Master Tone knobs.
Weight: 9.45 lbs
Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding fretless bass for the money. The J-Bass pickups have a great pronounced mid-range that works well with the fretless configuration and the modern C neck plays comfortably.
Case: Includes hardshell case.
