What makes this guitar special: A dynamite player of high-quality construction with some really gorgeous features that make the Johnny A one of the most unique models to come out of Gibson's Custom Shop. A stunning carved maple top finished in Sunset Glow shows off some truly eye catching flame figuring. A nicely rounded, semi-chunky neck & 25 1/2" scale length add to the overall appeal. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with some typical light play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches, mild weather checking & some light tarnish to the gold hardware. Overall, the guitar looks wonderful & plays perfectly.
Neck: 1-piece mahogany Johnny A custom rounded neck profile. Ebony fingerboard with 3-ply binding & mother of pearl custom inlays. Professionally refretted with jumbo frets all in great shape with no wear. Mother of pearl headstock inlay & Johnny A signature on the truss rod cover. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, semi-hollow body with "scimitar" F-holes. Carved, figure maple top in Sunset Glow finish with 5-ply binding. 1-piece mahogany back and rims with 3-ply binding. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard & gold jackplate. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 10.2 oz.
Electronics: Gibson '57 Classic Humbuckers with gold covers & black bezels. Bridge - 7.79K ohms; Neck - 12.15K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original deluxe hardshell case included. There is no COA.
