Description

What makes this guitar special? This is a super solid Les Paul Classic with a great tone and playability, plus a classic look to boot. The figuring of the maple top has a unique shape where the grain stays mostly straight through the middle of the body and under the bridge as it parallels the strings, yet swirls considerably more near the controls and left side of the upper bout. Between the Tobacco Sunburst, cream appointments, gold knobs and dark rosewood fingerboard, this guitar has a very warm aesthetic. The Seymour Duncan pickups sound fantastic in all three positions, with more warmth and fullness in the neck and bright bite in the bridge. In addition, the action is great, the neck is comfortable, and the overall appearance remains clean, making it a great addition to any guitar roster.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, chips, scratches, and normal wear, but is still very clean and looks fantastic. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Single cutaway mahogany body and maple top in Tobacco Sunburst. Single-ply cream binding, raised pickguard, pickup rings, and switch plate. Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Gold top hat knobs with silver inserts.

Neck: Slim D shape mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Vintage-style Deluxe tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width.

Electronics: Seymour Duncan SH-1N in the neck and Seymour Duncan SH-1B in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 9 lbs 8.7 oz

Playability/Sound: The slim D shape neck is very easy to move around and is a welcome separation from the more standardize C shape, as it offers up a nice flat back to post up on. The Duncan pickups sound great in both the neck and bridge, with added warmth and bite/clarity respectively.

Case: Includes Gibson hardshell case.
