What makes this guitar special: This faded 50’s model Les Paul features a gorgeous flamed honeyburst satin finish, which provides a unique look, in addition to its astonishing resonance. The ’57 classic humbuckers provide clear and crisp delivery, with breathtaking cut and sustain. This piece marks the first year of the Les Paul faded models, but is in such clean condition it would be easy to confuse it with a brand new one. It has been expertly setup by our in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to impress you.
Cosmetic condition: Excellent condition-no notable cosmetic wear, save for one extremely small scuff on the back of the lower bout, on the bass side, and some very minor wear in the wood on the 2nd and 4th frets beneath the A string.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound flamed maple top in stunning satin honeyburst finish. Nickel plated tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece with white pickup and switch bezels.
Weight: 9lb, 1oz
Neck: Medium profile mahogany neck with double bound rosewood fingerboard. Rosewood fingerboard showcases some beautiful variegation, and are accentuated nicely by the mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with very little visible wear. Headstock features a pearloid Gibson logo with Gibson Deluxe two-stripe vintage style tuners. 1 11/16” nut width, and 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod is fully functional.
Electronics: Dual ’57 classic humbuckers (Bridge-8.1K ohms, Neck-7.56K ohms) with 3-way white tipped pickup selector switch and vintage style tophat knobs, 2x volume, 2x tone.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
