Description
A 2005 Reeves Custom 30 boutique tube amp head. After years of use this one has plenty of beauty marks, but given its bullet-proof construction, it should have many more years of use ahead of it. With chimey Hiwatt-inspired overdrive tones and power scaling to dial back the voume levels, this amp is really fun to play. Engage the lead boost via the footswitch to boost the overall gain and fill out the bottom end. Topping it all off is a lush tube-driven spring reverb. A versatile boutique head that can take you anywhere from the bedroom to the stage. This amp has been cleaned and tested. It is fully functional and sounds great.
Manufacturer's Description...
Designed in conjunction with amp guru Mark Stephenson, the Custom 30 is designed for the player that is seeking a wide range of tonal options. It's an amp that can play clean with lush reverb effect and an amp that can lay down the grind for good ol' rock 'n' roll. With these parameters in mind we felt that the best power tube to build this amp around was the KT-66 beam tetrode. We wanted to build an amp that has that fat hot fudge sundae texture while still maintaining a touch of Hiwatt inspired vibe. And for good measure we threw in some extras that will be useful to both the bedroom and pro player: Power scaling - the ultimate master volume control. Foot switchable reverb and lead boost.
