Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a super clean Taylor T5. It shows very few signs throughout that it was even played much, and still boasts a very fresh look which is impressive for being over 10 years old. The combination of pickups Taylor equipped this model with is able to produce a vast range of tones, making this one of the most versatile guitars on the market. It can easily emulate a straight acoustic, multiple electrics, including single-coil solid bodies, dual-humbucker solid bodies, and even a hollow body, each of which can be further dialed in with its active treble and bass controls. Plus, it sports some excellent aesthetic additions like gold hardware, a flame maple top, and artist inlays, all of which adds up to a guitar that is as versatile as it is visually appealing.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only a minor ding here or there, as well as a few light surface scratches, but is otherwise in outstanding condition, especially for being over 10 years old. The frets show only very light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Playability/Sound: The slim C shape neck on this Taylor, like many others, is super easy to play and plays just like an electric top to bottom. The tri-pickup setup provides a vast tonal range and a great set of combinations to choose from. The first is a clean, honest, acoustic voice, the second is perfect for rhythms with a bit more warmth, the third has great overall character with fair amounts of body and clarity, along with a bit more classic jangle, while the fourth and fifth positions sound near to a throwback hollowbody and a pair of fat humbuckers respectively.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
