What makes this guitar special: This is part of a Limited Edition run done around the time the second Pirates of the Caribbean movie was released. Even though it will perfectly suit a collector or fanatic due to its great condition and artwork, it plays and sounds good enough to function as a solid workhorse guitar as well. The neck plays very easily, the pickups sound great across the board from the full-bodied and warm neck to the hotter bridge, and the controls are as intuitive as any. Plus, it’s still in great shape for a guitar of its age, comes with its original gigbag, and also comes with a pro in-house setup.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It shows various scratches and small dings and dents here and there, but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a 10-year-old guitar. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Single cutaway mahogany body with a maple top in Limited Edition Pirates of the Caribbean finish. Black Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tail piece. Black speed knobs.
Neck: Medium depth C shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with red skull and crossbones inlays. Black Grover tuning machines. Captain Jack Sparrow voodoo doll headstock overlay. “A Pirate’s Life for Me” truss rod cover. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale length.
Electronics: Alnico Classic humbuckers in the neck and bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The neck shape should be a familiar shape and feel to most players and plays easily at length thanks to its low-friction satin finish. The Alnico Classic humbuckers sound good in both positions, with a more full-bodied response in the neck and more articulation in the bridge.
