Description

What makes this guitar special: This guitar was part of a finite run by Epiphone and features a limited edition Alpine White finish that not only looks great, but still looks very clean even with light playwear. The neck pickup is warm and full while the bridge is crisp and articulate. Each pickup is controlled by nicely separated pairs of tone and volume controls, making the playing experience that much more intuitive. The slim neck is a breeze to move around and perfectly suits its similarly skinny body profile, providing it excellent playability all around.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It shows only minor nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, and other forms of light playwear, but is still in great shape, especially for its age. The frets show only light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Double cutaway rounded mahogany body in Alpine White finish. 3-ply white pickguard. Chrome Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Black top hat knobs with silver inserts.

Neck: Medium depth ‘60s SlimTaper D shape mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Chrome Grover tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale length. Missing truss rod cover.

Electronics: Alnico Classic humbucker in the neck and Alnico Classic Plus humbucker in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 7 lbs 6.3 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck on this guitar should be familiar to any modern Gibson/Epiphone player, but should also be an easy transition for those who gravitate toward a modern C shape as well. The pickups have a ton of body, even in the bridge position with nice upper mid-range warmth that gives the overall sound a classic vibe. The bridge itself has great chime and jangle that would fit easily into modern or throwback applications.

Case: Includes hardshell case.
