Description
What makes this guitar special: A discontinued model in fabulous condition & smartly upgraded with a pair of dynamite sounding Seymour Duncan P-90's. The slender mahogany neck is super comfy & plays like a champ up & down the fretboard. A pro set up from the experts at Cream City Music ensures this beauty is ready for action straight out of the case. These Specials are becoming harder to find, especially in this condition, so don't hesitate to pick this one up before it's gone!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with some light play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches, scuffs & mild finish wear. The guitar has just an ever so faint nicotine odor to it. It's certainly not overwhelming, but could be picked up by someone with a sensitive nose.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck that shows a bit of flame figuring in the back. Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays & cream side-dots. Frets show only a tiny bit of wear & have tons of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid mahogany body. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with chrome hardware. Single-ply, black pickguard shows some pick scratches, but no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 4.5 oz.
Electronics: Seymour Duncan P-90's with black "soapbar" covers. Bridge - 7.90K ohms; Neck - 5.27K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
