The G6118T-LTV features a lacquer finish, enhancing the tone and letting the instrument breathe a bit more than the traditional polyurethane finish, while the TV Jones humbuckers deliver an authentic sound, directly reminiscent of the Anniversary’s vintage counterparts. Setup by our in-house luthier with fresh strings and low action, this beauty will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Great condition! There are some light surface scratches and marks from handling present, along with some visible pickwear on the guard. The back shows some surface level buckle rash, and a handful of scratches. The back also shows some flattening in the clear coat. For a used piece, this one is an 8/10.
Body: Double bound semi-hollow maple body in two-tone green finish with dual f-holes. Compensated Adjusto-Matic bridge with floating rosewood base and Bigsby tremolo tailpiece. Vintage style Gretsch plexi pickguard and clear pickup surrounds.
Weight: 7 lb, 1.9 oz
Neck: C-shaped maple neck with ebony fingerboard and Neo-Classic pearl thumbnail inlays. Black headstock overlay with pearloid Gretsch logo and silver “Anniversary Model” badge. Open gear tuners function perfectly. Frets show some very light wear in the first position, but have a ton of life left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24.6” scale length. Neck is straight and plays beautifully up and down the length of the fingerboard.
Electronics: Dual TV Jones FilterTron humbuckers (Neck-4.38k ohms, Bridge-4.82k ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch, 3-way tone selector switch, and knurled G-Arrow knobs, 2x individual volume, 1x master volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included. The case does have a somewhat musty odor to it, but the guitar does not have any attached smell. Note: There is no COA included with this guitar.
