Description: 2006 Martin D-45 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar w/Added Pickup
Condition: Excellent condition overall! This is an exceptional piece. Various light surface scratches and perhaps a couple tiny dings throughout the finish. Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. A K&K pickup has been added otherwise all parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound dreadnought shaped body with solid Sitka Spruce top and Solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with bone saddle, tortoise pickguard and a style 45 rosette with abalone and Boltaron inlays. The exceptionally ornate body features 900 pieces of abalone inlaid into the binding.
Neck: Mahogany neck with bound Ebony fingerboard, abalone Hexagon inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Gold Martin tuners, 25.4” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Added K&K Western Passive Pickup.
Playability/Sound: This is a highly ornate guitar with impeccable craftsmanship for the discerning musician. The body produces a tone that is deep, rich and brilliant. The solid top back and sides resonate together creating a sound that has tons of volume and resonance with even response from all frequencies. Simply put, this guitar sounds huge! The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
