Description
What makes this guitar special: Somewhat subtle in its “late night” look, this Schecter sports a slick black finish and exotic inlays that give it a well-defined look. Its tone is similarly standout, as the Duncan humbuckers provide a ton of body in both positions, but with a bit more low end chunk in the neck and crunchier bite in the bridge. The slim neck plays great top to bottom and at 7.5 lbs, it’s just as easy to play standing as it is sitting. Plus, its still in pretty great shape for a used guitar, comes with a semi-hardshell case, and a professional setup so it plays that much better.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It shows only various minor dings, dents, and light to mild scratching throughout, but is still pretty clean for a 10-year-old guitar. The frets show only very light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured mahogany body with a carved top in Black finish. White top binding. Satin finish Tune-o-matic bridge w/ string through body. Satin knurled dome controls.
Neck: Thin C shape maple neck and a bound rosewood fingerboard with exotic dancer inlays. 24 jumbo frets. Satin finish Grover tuning machines. 1.5/8” nut. 25.5” scale. .82” deep at the 1st fret and .88” deep at the 12th.
Electronics: Seymour Duncan JB and ‘59 humbuckers. 2 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector.
Weight: 7 lbs 8.0 oz
Playability/Sound: The neck is a comfortable and familiar C shape most players should have no issue adapting to. The pickups are nice and hot with a good amount of chunk in the neck and crunchy bite in the bridge.
Case: Includes semi-hardshell case.
