What makes this guitar special: Designed to be the best of both worlds, the T5 delivers more than enough in electric and acoustic tonality, and is perfectly suited for effortless transitions between clean acoustic and clean or fuzzified electric...they really did their best to throw all the sounds in one guitar. This one is a little more versatile than most of its contemporaries, with a two-pickup arrangement beautifully accented by the Piezo pickup. The neck feel is great, on the thin side, with a slight taper towards the neck heel. The ebony fingerboard is quick and comfortable, and then of course you’ve got all the quality accoutrements. This one sounds every bit as great as it looks.
Cosmetic condition: Excellent shape! Some surface and handling scratches throughout, with some light pickwear on the front, two small chips in the finish on the headstock, and nominal fretwear.
Body: Chambered mahogany body with dual bound sound holes, bound spruce top, and ebony bridge with ebony bridge pins.
Weight: 5 lb, 13 oz
Neck: Rounded mahogany neck with black side dots and pearl steer-head inlays. Double bound ebony fingerboard is in marvelous shape, and frets show almost no visible wear, with a ton of life left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 7/8” scale length. Bound headstock with ebony overlay and mother-of-pearl Taylor logo. Gold Taylor tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: Dual “lipstick” pickups with piezo under-saddle pickup. 5-way pickup selector and black knobs with white indicators, 2x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
