Cosmetic Condition: This guitar recently came to us from the personal collection of Rudy Schlacher, the former owner of Washburn Guitars. Rudy kept this guitar, as well as an assortment of other cool pieces, before he retired from the business. We are proud to present this fine example as essentially a new old stock item that was really never played & kept in pristine condition. It is all original & very clean with zero issues. The guitar plays great & offers a rich, powerful tone.
Neck: Nicely rounded, one-piece mahogany neck with rosewood binding. Ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Frets are in perfect condition with no wear. Rosewood headstock veneer with mother of pearl Washburn logo. 18:1 ratio Grover tuners in perfect working condition. Buzz Feiten Tuning System. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Dreadnought body with rosewood binding. Solid sitka spruce top with ebony bridge & compensated saddle. Tortoise pickguard & abalone rosette. Gorgeous, solid flame maple back & sides. No pickup.
