2007 Eastman John Pisano Signature Series AR680CE Acoustic Electric Archtop Guitar
World renowned jazz guitarist John Pisano personally designed his signature model archtop guitar from top to bottom. Working closely with Eastman craftsmen, John included all of the features and performance he ever wanted in a guitar. John also collaborated with noted pickup designer Kent Armstrong to create a custom humbucking pickup that captures the complete tonal spectrum of John’s creation. The result is a magnificent instrument that sounds as glorious plugged in as it does acoustically.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - very clean!
Neck: Mahogany neck with some really nice flame figuring. Ebony fingerboard with cream side markers & John's signature in the 19th fret. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with flame maple truss rod cover held on by two magnets - a very unique design! Gold Schaller tuners with ebonoid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 25" scale length.
Body: Single-cutaway, hollow body with a hand-carved spruce top & bound F-holes. Mahogany back & sides with some nice figuring in the back. Flame maple top & back binding. Ebony tailpiece, bridge & pickguard. 16 1/2" lower bout width; 12" upper bout width; 3" depth.
Pickup: Kent Armstrong custom neck humbucker - 7.33K ohms. Master volume & tone controls.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - plays like a brand new guitar! Rich, warm tone.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
