What makes this guitar special: This is a killer 2007 Gibson Les Paul Standard. The flamed maple top looks fantastic and is accentuated nicely by the Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. Even better than the top, this particular Standard weighs in at an unbelievable 7 pounds 5.7 ounces! This means longer playing sessions and fewer sore shoulders than other Les Pauls. On top of all of that, some high-end upgrades were made to the hardware and electronics. A TonePros locking Tune-o-Matic bridge & locking stop bar tailpiece were installed without any need for permanent modifications. Lindy Fralin Humbuckers were installed for classic PAF sounds, and the original capacitors were replaced with “bumble bee” caps. All around, this is a phenomenal looking, sounding, and playing instrument, especially since it has been set up by our in-house technician.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess some minor nicks, dings, dents, and mild surface scratches, but is still very clean. The frets show only light wear and have plenty of life in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Ultra light weight single cutaway mahogany body with carved flamed maple cap in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. The flame figuring is absolutely gorgeous & looks almost three dimensional! TonePros locking Tune-o-Matic bridge & stopbar tailpiece. The original pickguard and bracket is included, but installation holes were not drilled into the guitar body.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck (.80” at the first fret, .88” at the 12th fret). Bound 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and black side dots. Gibson Deluxe Keystone tuners with green buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16” nut width. 24 ¾” scale length.
Electronics: Unoriginal Lindy Fralin Humbuckers. Dual volume & tone controls with gold “top hat” knobs; 3 way toggle switch. Upgraded “bumble bee” capacitors. All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Playability/Sound: The slender neck feels great and is incredibly easy to maneuver up & down the fretboard. The Fralins have a rich PAF sound that responds well to both chording and lead playing. The neck pickup has a warm, full tone, while the bridge pickup has a nice bright attack, but retains a classic vintage character.
