What makes this guitar special: An absolutely gorgeous model based on bluesman Kenny Sultan's original '36 000-18. Featuring two-piece back and sides made of rare, fiddleback mahogany & an Adirondak spruce top with scalloped, 1/4" thick spruce bracing. The soft V-shaped neck is carved from mahogany & has a two-way adjustable truss rod. The inside label is hand signed & by Kenny & is number 66 in the run. The guitar delivers a warm, rich tone that is well-balanced & very dynamic. Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with some mild play wear - various minor nicks, dings & surface scratches.
Neck: Modified V-shape mahogany neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone diamond inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Ebony headstock overlay & Waverly tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" bone nut; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition. A gold strap button was added to the neck heel.
Body: 000 size body with tortoise binding on the top & back. Solid Adirondak spruce top in vintage sunburst finish. Ebony bridge & end pins with bone saddle. Tortoise pickguard & abalone/herringbone rosette. Fiddleback mahogany back & sides with some gorgeous flame figuring & herringbone center strip. There is no pickup. Guitar weighs 3 lbs 9.7 oz.
