What makes this guitar special: In 2007 PRS custom built a number of Korina body McCarty models with Brazilian rosewood fingerboards for the US market only. This particular model is in pristine condition with an ice tea sunburst finish & gold hardware. The McCarty humbuckers are exquisite, producing rich, creamy tones. The guitar has been professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - very clean & like new!
Neck: Rounded mahogany neck with silver side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with abalone bird inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Vintage style tuners with mint tulip buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid Korina body in sunburst finish. Wrap-around, stop tailpiece with gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 5.1 oz.
Pickups: McCarty Bass & Treble humbuckers with cream bezels & gold covers. Bridge - 8.58K ohms; Neck - 7.85K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with amber speed knobs;3-way toggle switch. The tone controls is push/pull for coil splitting. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with a letter from PRS discussing the nature of the Brazilian rosewood.
