Description
Condition: There are only a few light surface scratches throughout the entire instrument. There are some pick scratches on the pickguard but the protective plastic wrapping is still intact! Fingerboard and frets are pristine. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition. This guitar beautifully exemplifies the Gibson Guitar of the Week (week 3) edition SG!
Body: Solid contoured mahogany body in silverburst finish. Stop-Bar Tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge, skirted control knobs with silver inserts, 5-ply black pickguard and a black plastic back cover plate.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with bound Ebony fingerboard, pearloid trapezoid inlays and a 1.695” nut. Grover tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Gibson humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.50K Ohms.
Bridge: 13.13K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 2.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a hard to find limited run SG! The silverburst finish really gives it a unique look and vibe. The humbuckers offer a very classic sound with the ability to provide anything from sparkling clean tone to a thick, rich overdrive. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for virtually any playing style.
