Description

What makes this guitar special: Not only is this a killer reissue in terms of its build, but it also comes in a super rare color that gives it a look all its own. The finish is truly one of the highlights of this model, as its blue outer rim perfectly bursts into a vivid 7-Up green with a vibrant metallic shimmer. Everything else is pretty straight forward for a ’56 reissue, including a fantastic-sound pair of P-90s that are chock-full of classic plucky jangle and top end chime that gave this era of Les Paul such a rich tonal identity. It also comes with a traditional 50s-style C shape neck profile that has a perfectly chunky in-hand feel that is still very easy to play from the nut up into the cutaway. Plus, it’s in excellent shape for a used piece and even comes with its original hardshell case and COA, along with a professional setup so it plays perfectly head to toe.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only a minor ding here or there, light hardware tarnish, a few light surface scratches throughout, but is still in fantastic shape for a used guitar. The frets show only light wear and still have an absolute ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: Single cutaway mahogany body with a carved maple top in custom Metallic Blue-Green Burst finish. Single-ply top binding. Single-ply raised cream pickguard. Nickel Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Gold top hat control knobs.

Neck: Chunky rounded mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Vintage-style Gibsno Deluxe tuning machines with cream keystone keys. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale length. .90” deep at the first fret and 1.03” deep at the 12th.

Electronics: Gibson P-90 pickups. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 8 lbs 13.1 oz

Playability/Sound: The chunky 50s style neck has a fantastic old-school full in-hand feel that plays great at length. The P-90s sound fantastic across the board with that perfectly plucky jangle and top end chime.

Case: Includes original hardshell case and COA.
