Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a simple and straight-forward studio with solid tone and a nice, worn look. The satin Worn Cherry finish creates a good amount of depth visually, especially with the great figuring it shows underneath. The fuller neck profile has a bit more size to it, which is perfect for players who enjoy a full-in-hand feel over the more common SlimTaper profiles. The Rhythm Pro in the bridge is fat and full and provides more than enough traditional Les Paul tone, especially with a complementing bridge pickup to add in some more chime and bite. Plus, it includes a Gibson hardshell case and a pro setup so all you have to do is tune it up and play.
Condition: This Les Paul is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, scratches, and other forms of light play wear, like some finish worn to a shine near the front strap button and around a couple knobs, but is still in pretty great shape for its age. The frets show very little wear and still have a lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. One tuning machine has been replaced.
Body: Single cutaway mahogany body in Worn Cherry finish. Chrome Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Black speed knobs. Single-ply raised black pickguard.
Neck: Medium round 50s style mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. Vintage-style Gibson Deluxe tuning machines with green tulip keys (one unoriginal).
Electronics: Rhythm Pro humbucker in the neck and Lead Pro humbucker in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.
Weight: 6 lbs 14.7 oz
Playability/Sound: The satin finish neck is nice and chunky and will be a welcome profile for players who like a more full-in-hand feel. The pickups sound great in all three positions with thick and full response in the neck with some extra bite and crispiness in the bridge.
Case: Includes Gibson hardshell case.
