What makes this guitar special: A perfect blend of modern and classic elements, this great American-made bass will easily suit a large variety of players. Aesthetically, it boasts a slick Blonde Transparent finish that still allows the nicely-figured underlying swamp ash to shine through without being visually demanding. The slim satin-finish neck plays very smoothly and also displays quite a bit of bird’s eye figuring on its fingerboard. The pickups sound great in both positions and have a good amount of range between the thick thump and warmth of the neck to the more focused and tight bridge. The stacked controls are very intuitive and allow players to get their sound dialed in quickly and easily, even if it’s on the fly. Plus, it’s still in fantastic shape, comes with a professional setup, and its original hardshell case, providing it all-around exceptional value.
Condition: This bass is in excellent condition overall. It shows only minor dings here and there, as well as a few light surface scratches, but is still in great shape for its age. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured swamp ash body in Blonde Translucent finish. 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. Lakland dual-access fixed bridge with adjustable saddles. Stacked concentric knurled chrome control knobs.
Neck: Quarter-sawn slim C shape rock maple neck and bird’s eye maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Hipshot Ultralite tuning machines with chrome clover keys. 1 13/16” nut width. 35” scale length.
Electronics: Lakland Vintage J single-coils. 2 x stacked volume/tone controls.

Playability/Sound: The combination of a satin finish and slim C shape neck provide a fantastic playing surface for a variety of different styles.
