Description

What makes this guitar special: If you’ve never picked up a 4004 Cheyenne, you are missing out. This thing practically plays itself, with effortless action and a neck feel that is-out-of-this-world comfortable. The controls are straightforward as can be, while still allowing a great deal of tonal variance and offerings. And then you’ve got the looks…a neck through body with gorgeous and highly figured flame maple wings. This one has been professionally setup by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play out of the case.

Cosmetic condition: Great shape for its age, with some visible surface scratching and light dents and dings here and there. The top of the body shows some pickwear, and the back shows the beginnings of some buckle rash. Overall, this one is about an 8.5/10.

Body: Neck-through maple body with 3-piece hard rock maple wings in mapleglo finish. Top-loading gold diecast bridge with individually adjustable saddles.

Weight: 8 lb, 9 oz

Neck: Full-C (nearly U) shaped one piece maple neck with maple headstock wings. Gold Schaller tuners function perfectly. 1 11/16” nut width, 33 1/4" scale length. Bubinga fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show almost no wear, with nearly a full lifetime of use left in them. Neck is straight and truss rods are functioning.

Electronics: Dual blacktop humbucking pickups with 3-way mini pickup selector toggle and gold slotted knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone.

Case: Original hard shell case included.
