Description

What makes this guitar special? This is a straight-forward guitar with great tone that puts a unique twist on a classic shape. The overall aesthetic of this guitar is simple but slick looking nonetheless. With its bright white finish, satin hardware and touch of gold in the knobs, it has a simple palette, but one that leaves more speaking to be done by the sound than look. The pickup has character all of its own, situating itself somewhere between a hot and crispy classic rock humbucker and a little bit of single-coil jangle in the high-mids. The V shape neck is comfortable and easy to move around, and the bridge and tailpiece setup makes for easy adjustment. All in all, this is a straight-forward guitar that takes little to get from picking it up to solid rock and roll tone.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess some light surface scratches, small dings here and there, a little wear on the edge of the lower bout and slight discoloration near the strap button but most of which aren’t very noticeable and the guitar still looks fantastic. The frets show very light wear and still have a full lifetime left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Single cutaway mahogany body in White finish. Satin finish tune-o-matic bridge and slotted fixed tailpiece. Black pickup ring. Gold speed knobs.

Neck: V shape mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with Leslie West pearl inlays. 24 ¾” scale length. 22 frets. 1 11/16” nut width. Satin finish Grover tuning machines.

Electronics: USA DMT Leslie West Mountain of Tone humbucker in the bridge. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control.

Weight: 7 lbs 13.6 oz

Playability/Sound: The V shape neck is surprisingly comfortable across the board, especially with first position chords and further up the neck for soloing. The pickup has a character all its own, split somewhere between a hot humbucker and a bit of single-coil jangle.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
