What’s special about this guitar: The White Penguin combines the stunning white and gold flake visuals of the Falcon with the style and playability of the Duo Jet. Features include a chambered body with an arched top, all-gold hardware and gold flake binding, dual Dyna-Sonic pickups and a super comfortable mahogany neck. The chambered body really allows the sound to open up a bit without sacrificing sustain and also makes the guitar a little less heavy and therefore more comfortable to play.
Condition: Excellent condition overall! There are perhaps a few tiny and faint surface scratches throughout the guitar. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound- single cutaway chambered body with an arched maple top and mahogany body. Gretsch “G” Cadillac Tailpiece and an Ebony-based Space Control Roller bridge. Gold arm rest, Grestch Arrow control knobs and a gold pickguard.
Neck: Super comfortable maple neck with a bound Ebony fingerboard. Hump-Block inlays with a Penguin motif and a 1 11/16” nut. Bound headstock with Grover tuners, 24.6” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: DynaSonic single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge with dual volume controls, master volume control, a master tone control and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.84K Ohms.
Bridge: 7.66K Ohms.
