Description

What makes this guitar special? This is great-playing hollow body with excellent features and tone to boot. The biggest seller of this guitar has to be its pickups, which provide equal parts of hot, bright, jazzy, and clean. Even with standard wiring, these pickups sound great, but in this model are even more expressive since you can align them in either series or parallel configurations thanks to the push/pull tone pots, which add another dimension completely. Beautifully figured flame maple graces the back and sides of this guitar and look ultimately elegant under the subtle Wine Red finish. In addition, the neck is easy, comfortable, and familiar, the Bigsby is responsive, and overall, this guitar plays beautifully after the setup our techs have given it.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, and scratches, as well as some wear and scuffing on the Bigsby, but is still clean and still looks fantastic. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of play left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Single cutaway hollow body with a multi-ply bound select spruce top and maple back and sides. Pinned tune-o-matic bridge with a rosewood base and Bigsby tailpiece. Black top hat knobs with silver inserts. Bound F holes.

Neck: Medium round hard maple neck and bound 14” radius rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. Bound headstock. Grover tuning machines. 1.68” nut width. 24.75” scale length.

Electronics: Swingbucker (Alnico V) humbucking pickup in the neck and Swingbucker Plus (Alnico V) humbucking pickup in the bridge. 2 x volume controls, 2 x push/pull tone knobs with parallel and series switching. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 7 lbs 4.5 oz

Playability/Sound: The easy-playing and common neck profile will be familiar and comfortable for a wide range of players. The pickups sound fantastic in this guitar and perfectly mix hot and clean tones. With the addition of the series/parallel push/pull tone pots, the tonal capabilities are expanded even farther.

Case: Includes hardshell case.
