Description

What makes this guitar special: Designed to give players the vintage look and feel of the very first Les Paul Standards, This Traditional Pro provides all of the classic tones players have come to love, with some added details and features that put this guitar ahead of the others. The combination of the ’57 classic and Burstbucker 3 pickups, with the option to split the coils, delivers a huge array of tonal options, capable of handling whatever style on genre of music you can throw at it. The locking Grover tuners provide incredible tuning stability and no longer make changing strings the chore it once was. Plus, the guitar features a professional setup from our in-house tech, so all you need to do is take it out of the case and tune it up.

Condition: The guitar is in very good, if not better, condition overall. It does possess some minor playing scratches, as well as a small amount of buckle rash, and other small dings, but is fairly clean for a used instrument that looks to have been played often. The frets are in excellent shape with tons of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly. The original pickguard and bracket were not included with this guitar.

Body: Single cutaway, traditionally weight relieved, Mahogany body with a carved maple cap in Gold Top Finish. Single ply cream body binding. Chrome Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stop bar tailpiece. Gold top hat knobs.

Neck: 60’s Slim Taper mahogany neck (.79” at the 1st fret, .88” at the 12th fret) with a bound, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid trapezoid inlays with black side dots. Mother-of-Pearl Gibson logo headstock inlay. Chrome Grover Locking Keystone tuning keys. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale length.

Electronics: Gibson ’57 Classic Zebra-Coil humbucker in the neck. Burstbucker 3 Zebra Coil in the bridge position. Dual Volume and dual tone controls. 3-way pickup selector toggle switch. Push/pull coil tap for each pickup on their respective volume control.

Weight: 10 lbs. 1.9 oz.

Playability/Sound: The Slim 60’s taper neck is incredibly easy to maneuver around and feels very comfortable in your hand. Both the ‘57 Classic and the Burstbucker 3 provide historically accurate PAF tones, with a full balanced response and classic humbucker crunch. The Burstbucker 3 in particular has a bit more punch that can really cut through the mix.

Case:  Includes original hard shell case.
