What makes this guitar special: Based on the legendary D-35, the HD-35 features a three-piece back with bound fingerboard, all wrapped together in Martin’s classic herringbone inlay. A solid Sitka spruce top coupled with solid East Indian rosewood back & sides result in pure Martin tone enhanced with really strong bass. Perfect for the intermediate or advanced player, this gorgeous guitar plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with some light play wear - various minor nicks & dings; surface scratches / pickwear & mild lacquer checking.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with some light wear & plenty of life in them. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" bone nut; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Dreadnought body with multi-bound top & back. Solid Sitka spruce top with herringbone purfling. Ebony bridge with cream end pins & compensated bone saddle. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid East Indian rosewood back & sides with HD Zig-Zag patterns. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 0.5 oz.
