What makes this guitar special: This guitar was custom ordered & built to the previous owner's exact specifications, making it a totally unique Grand Auditorium model. An excellent combination of Western Red Cedar top & Indian Rosewood back & sides creates an articulate, rich tone with a massive sound - this guitar is loud! All of the appointments were well thought out & compliment the overall look of the guitar very well. Professionally set up by our luthier so it plays like a brand new guitar!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean & like new with hardly any play wear.
Neck: Standard Carve mahogany neck with flame maple binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with Taylor mother of pearl inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bound headstock with ebony overlay. Gotoh 510 gold tuners with 1:21 gear ratio. 1 3/4" bone nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Grand Auditorium size body with flame maple bound top & back. Solid Western Red Cedar top finished in Tobacco Sunburst. Ebony bridge & end pins with abalone dot inlays. Bone saddle & abalone rosette. There is no pickguard & no pickup. AA grade solid Indian Rosewood back & sides with flame maple mini wedge in the back.
Case: Original Taylor deluxe hardshell case included along with the original build sheet. The original price of the guitar was almost $5000!
